Paving SR 38 in 2020

A Request for Proposals (RFP) has been posted by the Indiana Department of Transportation for a $1.1 million project to repave State Road 38 (aka Walnut Street) for the entire length of the town. The state is suggesting a 9% profit plus overhead. 

The selected firm will perform the roadway design and plan development work necessary to produce the construction contract documents. The selected firm will be required to provide additional services such as an Engineering Assessment, Topographic Survey, Environmental Documentation, all Permits, Geotechnical Work, Title Research, Right-of-Way Plans, Utility Coordination and Construction Phase Services for project.

INDOT will provide pavement design and land acquisition services.
