This Day in Dayton, 19 September
On September 19, 2006, an article in the Journal and Courier featured the Magic Fur Ball, the brain child of Dayton resident Ken Taylor. The 5 ½-inch rubber ball wrapped in the material used on lint brushes was selling on the QVC shopping network for $13.93 plus shipping. Ken’s daughter Tamarha demonstrated it on the show, and his brother John was VP of marketing. The three were pictured in the newspaper article.
