This Day in Dayton, 6 July
In July 1987, Larry and Lonna (Gunning) Stucker had a bumper crop of blueberries. A story in the Journal and Courier told of their you-pick blueberry farm on E 350 S just off Indiana 38. The season lasted four to five weeks, and the berries sold for 60 cents a pound. The farm is now owned by Prelocks.
